The Awakening of a Blue Moon

In the Beginning…

… there was a perception of a difference, then, the separation from the unwanted, or,  the unknown – finally - the surrender made way to the clear path of the awakening of the spirit in me, and so - I was born again.

Blue

There are several definitions and symbolism for the color blue and why I chose it to be my favorite one, was for sure a combination of them all:

“Blue is the color of the mind and is essentially soothing; it affects us mentally.
Strong blues will stimulate clear thought and lighter soft blues will calm the mind and aid concentration. Consequently it is serene and mentally calming.

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.

Blue also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, heaven, and intelligence.

Spiritually, blue signifies the Healing Power of God. It is the most sublime subject and color which represents, biblically, the Word of God. The 15th Chapter of Numbers, verses 38-41 denote this biblical meaning of Blue.”

Moon

An astronomical body that orbits planet Earth, where during its voyage around it, presents different colors and sizes depending on several factors; aside from all the known scientific data, the moon symbolizes and inspires plenty.

To me, the Moon is, above all, a nonjudgmental confidant who stimulates my inner self to look deeper into the unseen.

Blue Moon

A blue moon is an additional full moon that appears in a subdivision of a year.
The term has nothing to do with the color of the moon, although a literal "blue moon" may occur in certain atmospheric conditions.

Traditionally it refers to an "extra" full moon, where a year which normally has 12 full moons has 13 instead.

Owing to the rarity of a blue moon, the term "blue moon" is used to mean a rare event, as in the phrase "once in a blue moon".

And because the rarity may repeat itself cyclically, I was born on a 13 several blue moons ago and reborn upon a spiritual awakening on a beautiful spring afternoon, having completed the age of 64 which in numerology is 1 and symbolizes new beginning.  


Symbols, definitions and meanings many put aside, others like me, entertain the intellect, stimulating the mind while mediating between the ethereal and earthly conceptions.

And so, every day now, I go “out of my mind” to dive deeply “into my soul” surrendering to this new path that was right next to the previous one but took so long for me to see it!

Continuing on this new journey of the Awakening of a Blue Moon is my full time job now, and whilst dropping the old learned misconceptions and beliefs, I smile with awe embracing the simple truthful powerful light that resides in me and has been shyly veiled, waiting patiently to be out in the open and shine forevermore.

May the beautiful and peaceful blue hue of the Awakening of a Blue Moon sparkle and shine your days.
